Day & Zimmermann NPS Awarded New Five-Year Contract with We Energies

Day & Zimmermann to provide system-wide fossil plant maintenance services for ten We Energies’ fossil-fueled generating stations.

PHILADELPHIA, PA — April 12, 2012—Day & Zimmermann, the nation’s leading power plant maintenance and modifications contractor, announced today that its Day & Zimmermann NPS® (DZNPS) unit has been awarded a new five-year contract by We Energies to provide full-service outage management, power plant maintenance, and boiler repairs/modifications to their fleet of ten fossil-fueled generating stations in Wisconsin and the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. 

DZNPS has served as We Energies’ incumbent alliance partner since 2006. As a full-service contractor, DZNPS is uniquely positioned to meet We Energies’ fossil plant maintenance requirements and provide highly skilled and qualified craft labor representing all of the building trades to each of these facilities.
