Day & Zimmermann Raises $26,363 for American Cancer Society’s Making Strides Against Breast Cancer

Day & Zimmermann is proud to have exceeded our 2023 Making Strides goal of $25,000 with a total of $26,363 going to the American Cancer Society’s Making Strides Against Breast Cancer. Through donations and an online auction, our dedicated teams raised an impressive $21,363 in addition to receiving a $5,000 match from our D&Z Gives Back program.

This year’s theme, “D&Z Strong- Salute to Survivors”, was dedicated to D&Z’s breast cancer survivors, thrivers, and caregivers. We are grateful for overwhelming support of everyone who donated and walked to raise funds.

We’d also like to thank our Making Strides Members and Team Leads for spreading awareness of our cause and driving donations for their divisions: Tom Enright - Yoh SPG (team lead), Katelin Burns - BSO/ Corporate (team lead), Anjeanette Thomas - M&C (team lead), Crystal Thaxton - DZConneX (team lead), Esmalia Molina - Munitions (team lead), Michael Witham - Government Services (team lead), Shannon Bowen (communications leader), Bela Coelho, Zachary Davis, Jennifer Lomax, Jason Guggisberg, Ana Christina Peterson, Lindsey Thompson, and Holly Holt.

A very special thank you goes to Mary Blanton and Katherine Chesnutt, as they were our top two individual donors! Their efforts truly propelled us toward success in achieving our company fundraising goal.

We are incredibly proud to be part of an organization that takes action to help the community. Across the last 3 years, we raised $66,122 to support the American Cancer Society. Earlier screenings and more advanced therapies are the outcome. We look forward to uniting again next year for this important cause.
