Jason Dunaway
President, D&Z Maintenance and Construction
Jason Dunaway is President of Day & Zimmermann’s Maintenance and Construction group, where he leads the division’s engineering, procurement, construction (EPC), and maintenance & modification (M&M) services with a focus on safety, reliability, and value for customers in the power, industrial, and renewables industries.
With more than 30 years in the power industry and construction management, Jason is an accomplished business executive who has led strategic initiatives across multiple markets. Known for his forward-thinking approach and exceptional leadership skills, he has successfully managed diverse business portfolios, driving growth and innovation in both established and emerging markets. He believes strongly in fostering talent, mentoring next-generation leaders, and driving organizational excellence.
Prior to being named president, Jason served as the division’s Executive Vice President of Operations. In this role, he oversaw a broad range of operations, from core services and market expansion to building strong client relationships and optimizing cross-functional collaboration. Throughout his career, Jason has demonstrated a keen ability to identify and capitalize on new market opportunities while balancing short-term goals with long-term strategic vision. In 2024, Jason was appointed to serve on the White House’s Nuclear Power Project Management and Delivery Working Group, where he offered perspectives on past project implementation experience, lessons learned, and insight on our country’s skilled craft workers. Jason’s leadership has been instrumental in shaping key business strategies that have further established D&Z Maintenance and Construction as a leader in the markets it serves.
