Heather Zurburg
Principal Analyst
Dr. Heather Zurburg serves as our Principal Analyst at SOC.
Dr. Zurburg has more than 10-years of experience in investigations, all-source analysis, tactical targeting, and strategic assessments supporting the Intelligence Community (IC), federal and state law enforcement, and Department of Defense (DOD). She spent time serving as a strategist and policy advisor to the Office of the Director of National Intelligence IC Chief Data Officer and prior to that was an intelligence analyst with the U.S. Department of State’s (DOS) Diplomatic Security Service (DSS) embedded with the National Counterterrorism Center.
Dr. Zurburg started her career working as an intelligence analyst with the Florida Department of Law Enforcement in the Organized Crime and Financial Fraud Unit while completing her PhD in Criminology & Criminal Justice at Florida State University. She is a published author and spent years working for U.S. Soccer as a goalkeeper coach for the Olympic Development Program.
