Giving Thanks and Continuing to Stay Safe

Having just celebrated Veteran’s day, I want to first give thanks again to our veterans and to all of our women and men in the military who may be away from their families on Thanksgiving or during the holidays. I am thankful for their sacrifice for our country, and for all of us being safe in the knowledge that we have these brave individuals protecting our freedoms every day.

I am really grateful that I have been able to travel more this year to visit more of you, and see all the wonderful work that you do for our company. Some areas of our company are doing well, while others are seeing more challenges, but in everyone I meet there’s a shared sense of commitment, hard work, being innovative and finding new ways to overcome these challenges and achieve our strategies. Thank you to everyone for choosing to work at Day & Zimmermann and for all of your hard work.

This time last year, many of us were getting together for the first time since the pandemic hit. What a difference a year makes! I hope that again this year, you can get together safely with friends and family. I also hope you will do so safely, since we have seen that COVID is still out there, along with the flu and other serious respiratory diseases. Please enjoy, but please be safe.

These are just a few thoughts and things that I am thankful for. I hope that if you are able to gather with family and friends this year, that you take the opportunity to reflect on and share the many things for which you are grateful. And I would love to hear from you about what you are thankful for in the comments below.

I wish you and your families a safe and happy Thanksgiving and holiday season ahead.
