Day & Zimmermann (D&Z)’s Maintenance and Construction division has signed a Master Services Agreement (MSA) with Canadian Nuclear Laboratories (CNL), underscoring the company’s commitment to partnering with Canada’s nuclear sector and supporting CNL’s critical mission. The MSA encompasses decommissioning work at CNL’s Douglas Point site.
“Partnering with Canadian Nuclear Laboratories allows us to support their important work in advancing nuclear science and technology for the benefit of Canadians and the global community,” said Ross McConnell, Chief Nuclear Officer. “We’re excited to grow alongside CNL and the broader Canadian nuclear sector, bringing our expertise to help safely deliver on their critical projects and long-term vision.”
This agreement underscores D&Z’s nuclear expertise and ability to deliver safe, high-quality maintenance, construction, and technical services to Canada’s nuclear industry. Throughout the last four decades, D&Z has invested in the nuclear industry and its increasing presence in Canada reflects its ongoing commitment to nuclear technology and to Canada’s growing power generation demands.
“This agreement represents a significant milestone for DZMC’s presence in Canada,” added Mike Benham, Vice President, Canadian Operations. “We are proud to work alongside CNL, supporting their leadership in nuclear innovation while strengthening our footprint and reputation in the Canadian nuclear industry. Together, we’re helping to ensure the safe, secure, and responsible evolution of Canada’s nuclear infrastructure.”
