Celebrating Juneteenth, Embracing Our Differences

Today, we join communities across the country in recognizing Juneteenth, a day that marks the end of slavery in the United States and reminds us of the ongoing importance of freedom, dignity, and equal opportunity for all.

Juneteenth is both a celebration and a reflection. It honors the resilience, strength, and contributions of Black Americans whose courage and perseverance have helped shape our nation’s history, culture, and progress. It also calls on each of us to consider how we can continue building workplaces and communities where every person is respected, heard, and empowered to thrive.

As we observe Juneteenth, I encourage everyone to take time to learn, listen, and reflect. Our cultural tenets remind us that every voice matters and that embracing different backgrounds, perspectives, and ideas unlocks new possibilities. That spirit of inclusion is essential to our success as an enterprise and to our ability to serve our customers, employees, and communities.

Thank you to our teams across Day & Zimmermann for the work you do every day to create a culture of belonging and respect.
