Benjamin Lilly Announced as President of Day & Zimmermann’s Process & Industrial Group

Benjamin (Ben) Lilly has been appointed the role of President of Day & Zimmermann's Process & Industrial (P&I) Group. Mr. Lilly will continue to maintain his dual-leadership role as President of Mason & Hanger, the mission-critical Architecture & Engineering group within Day & Zimmermann.

The Process & Industrial division of Day & Zimmermann provides engineering, procurement, construction management, and plant maintenance services. The D&Z Process & Industrial Capfx® process delivers capital effectiveness, offering the opportunity for predictable cost savings compared to a conventional approach to project delivery.

Lilly brings deep industry experience to his new role having spent the entirety of his career providing multi-discipline engineering solutions to the government sector.

Lilly first joined Day & Zimmermann, a Mason & Hanger Company in May of 1994 as a junior civil engineer, one year out of the Virginia Military Institute. He earned his Professional Engineering License in 1998 and became the Assistant Civil Department Head in 2000. In 2001, he began supporting Department of State – Overseas Buildings Operations. In 2002, he became the Civil Department Head, and in 2006 began a three year transition into Market Director for the International Programs until becoming President of Mason & Hanger in 2017. Lilly holds a Bachelor’s of Science in Civil/Environmental Engineering with a minor in Mathematics from the Virginia Military Institute (VMI).
