Day & Zimmermann Recognizes Top Partners with Supplier of the Year Awards

PHILADELPHIA, PA – May 16, 2018 - Day & Zimmermann (D&Z), the century-old, family-owned provider of construction and engineering, staffing and defense solutions for leading corporations and governments around the world, announced today the winners of its 2017 Supplier of the Year Awards. Established in 1989, the annual awards recognize suppliers that contribute to D&Z’s ability to provide a higher quality of service to its customers and drive the company’s success.

Day & Zimmermann presents awards in two categories: overall Supplier of the Year and Diversity Supplier of the Year. This year’s Supplier of the Year is Fried, Frank, Shiver & Jacobson LLP. The Diversity Suppliers of the Year are Arc Energy Services Inc. and Industrial Staffing.

Fried Frank has deep expertise in government contracts and its strong advocacy allowed SOC to win a number of new contracts in 2017.

Arc Energy Services Inc. is a veteran-owned organization that has been a strategic partner to D&Z’s Engineering, Construction and Maintenance business. Arc provides specialty welding and machining services and has worked with Day & Zimmermann on a number of key client projects. The collaborative effort between the two firms has led to significant new revenue for D&Z in 2017.

Industrial Staffing is a woman-owned business that has supported D&Z’s talent and outsourcing company, Yoh. Industrial Staffing has been a key supporter of one of Yoh’s major accounts.
