PHILADELPHIA, PA – January 19th , 2016 – Day & Zimmermann (D&Z), the century-old, family-owned provider of construction & engineering, staffing and defense solutions for leading corporations and governments around the world, demonstrated its commitment to community service by participating in half-day local volunteer programs as part of its Annual Strategic Growth Conference (SGC). The SGC brings together D&Z senior leaders to discuss the firm’s strategic goals and to better understand how to navigate future challenges and opportunities.
The community service efforts achieved maximum impact by sending teams of 8-12 senior leaders to 5 volunteer programs across the city of Philadelphia. This volunteer effort helped to set the tone for our organization in 2016, as leadership is about setting a positive example for those not only within our company but also in our community.
