Day & Zimmermann ECM Forms New Leadership Role to Grow Process & Industrial Business

Ken Jobe, a senior executive with 30+ years of industry-related experience, joins Day & Zimmermann to expand footprint in the process & industrial markets.

PHILADELPHIA, PA—May 18, 2012— Day & Zimmermann, a nationally recognized provider of industrial, defense and workforce solutions for government and commercial customers, announced today that Ken Jobe has joined its Engineering, Construction and Maintenance (ECM) unit as vice president, process and industrial.  In this new role, Mr. Jobe will optimize Day & Zimmermann’s capabilities to grow its business in the process and industrial markets. His appointment to this position is a direct reflection of Day & Zimmermann’s continued commitment to its process and industrial customers and to attract and develop top industry talent.

     Most recently, Mr. Jobe was the owner and principal of Polaris Global Solutions, a specialty consulting practice focused on aligning business objectives within power and petrochemical manufacturing locations.  Previously, he held senior operations management positions for industry-leading companies in the power and petrochemical sector and has significant experience in overseeing operations in both domestic and international markets.  Mr. Jobe spent the first 20+ years of his career in the oil & gas industry at Shell Oil Company and served as part of the management team for the ninth largest refinery in the U.S.

     Mr. Jobe holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University.
