Day & Zimmermann Joins Defense News Top 100 Ranking
Day & Zimmermann makes its first appearance on the list at #83
PHILADELPHIA—August 21, 2008—Day & Zimmermann, a nationally recognized provider of diversified services, outsourcing solutions and products for government and commercial customers, today announced it has joined the rankings of the top defense contractors in the world. Included on the list for the first time, Day & Zimmermann is ranked at #83 on the list of the world’s top 100 defense companies based on defense revenues.

Leading the acquisition activity was securing sole ownership of American Ordnance, which was previously one of the company’s joint ventures. The acquisition brought significant new resources and contracts to Day & Zimmermann’s munitions operations. In addition to the munitions business, Day & Zimmermann saw significant growth in its architecture, engineering and construction unit serving the defense market.
