Day & Zimmermann Power Services Appoints Gary McKinney as President of DZNPS Division

PHILADELPHIA, Pa.—June 18, 2008—Day & Zimmermann Power Services, an industry-leading provider of plant maintenance, modification and specialty services to the power market, today announced it has named Gary McKinney as president of its Day & Zimmermann NPS (DZNPS) division. He will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations of the union labor arm of the power services business, with a concentration on strategic planning and customer relations. McKinney replaces current president Tim Reddington, who will be retiring in the fall. Reddington will stay on as Executive Vice President through that time to ensure a smooth transition.

McKinney joined Day & Zimmermann in 2006, when the company acquired Atlantic Union Resources (AURI) where he had worked since 1988, most recently serving as president and chief operating officer. Under his leadership, AURI grew to a $115 million revenue company which became a formidable competitor in the industry, and an attractive acquisition target for Day & Zimmermann. Since joining DZNPS at the time of the merger, McKinney has played an important leadership role as part of the Senior Operations Leadership Team in helping to integrate these two successful companies.

"Our long-term sustained growth will be built on four things: our strong values, safety-centric culture, employee focus and commitment to continuous improvement," said McKinney. "I plan to lead with a continued focus on these four critical areas, with the goal of becoming the premier managed maintenance solution provider in the power industry."

McKinney holds a Bachelor's degree in Management from Saint Leo University in St. Leo, Florida. He and his family will be relocating to the Lancaster, PA area.

DZNPS services 32 nuclear power plants and 160 fossil units, and employs over 14,000 workers each year.
