Services Provided
Day & Zimmermann proactively provided and controlled daily support of the combustion laboratory for this client. We provide a mix of millwright, piping, welding and general mechanic skill-sets required to prepare and convert components for hi-pressure, hi-temperature and component diagnostic analysis. Our scope of supply is operations, control room operations support, maintenance, test change-over support, planning and scheduling, site capital improvements, CMMS set-up and project management.
Results
In the first year, Day & Zimmermann reduced overtime hours from 60+ hours per week to 42 hours per week average. We reduced overall headcount from an approved 24 personnel to eleven which reduced administrative costs to the client. The result was improved productivity and a reduction in inefficiencies, materials and vendor service costs.
