Michael "Mick" McAreavy is chief operating officer for Day & Zimmermann's Government Services division. Prior to his current role, Mr. McAreavy was president of Day & Zimmermann's engineering and field services business.
Mr. McAreavy has more than 20 years of leadership experience in the professional services industry focusing on the advanced technology, healthcare, government, commercial, and industrial markets. Mr. McAreavy joined Day & Zimmermann in 1999 as senior vice president for the microelectronics division and quickly advanced to president of that group. In 2002, Mr. McAreavy's role was expanded to include Mason & Hanger, Day & Zimmermann's business focused on engineering and field services for the government sector, based in Lexington, KY.
Mr. McAreavy holds a bachelor of science in Electrical Engineering from the Illinois Institute of Technology.
